Looking Back – October 2023

October was a month filled with bike DIY works and verification tests. Continued with my verification of my replaced chainrings, I also completed the fixing works for my boy’s classmate.

30 OctoberWith a series of repair and upgrade works, I finally completed the fixing of my boy’s classmate’s bike.



My boy and I took a testing ride to Esher and Hampton Court Home Park to enjoy the last chance of bright UK sunlight!


8, 15 OctoberTwo consecutive weeks of workout with my boy in Richmond Park.



Of course, nothing is completed without his favourite comfort food, the Classic Mac & Cheese.


4 OctoberLife is a misery. I got the second tyre puncture with my little Peugeot 208 while driving along New Malden, same place as for last time in 2022.

3 OctoberWhile visiting the Garlic Farm in Isle of Wight early this year, I bought a pack of Garlic Farm inspired coffee beans.

Nearly six months later, I finally had the chance to taste it.



To be honest, nothing special !!!
2 OctoberCompleted a sufficiently long distance test on the replaced chainring on my road bike in Richmond Park.

Everything seemed to work fine and the project was finally marked ‘Closed.

  1. I am waiting for the bike shop to restock the tire you recommended in December. It’s getting too cold to bike in December anyway.
